Greetings from the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians (MAOFP). The MAOFP is the association for family physicians in osteopathic medicine in Michigan. The MAOFP has been in existence for over 29 years. We work to defend, preserve, promote and protect the rights of the osteopathic family physician. As an osteopathic family physician you must be extremely diversified. You must continually learn new technology, study new research findings, follow stringent billing and coding procedures, and somehow find the time to manage your personal and professional priorities while offering first rate care to your patients. The MAOFP can play a crucial part in helping you succeed in this busy world. We are also proud that we have maintained an incredibly low annual dues fee of $50.

The MAOFP is the proud recipient of the following American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) State Society Awards!

These award competitions are held annually by the ACOFP to recognize outstanding services provided by their state societies in various membership size categories. The awards are announced and presented at the ACOFP’s annual convention in March of each year. The MAOFP has received the following awards since the conception of the award competition:

      • 2006-07 Member Service Award
      • 2007-08 Excellence in State Society Leadership
