Membership Benefits
Becoming a Member Active Membership – The Board of Directors may extend active membership to any graduate of an AOA approved College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery who is licensed to practice Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in the State of Michigan and who presents a written application on such form and containing such information and further qualifications as the Board shall prescribe. The annual dues fee is $50.

Educational Membership – Educational membership shall consist of students in AOA accredited pre-doctoral training programs and residents in AOA or ACGME accredited Family Medicine post-doctoral training programs or fellowships. These members shall be entitled to serve as committee members, board members and national delegates with vote, but they may not hold office in the Association. They are not required to pay dues, assessments or educational seminar fees.
