The MAOFP’s two annual conferences offer premier opportunities
for osteopathic family physicians to network with each other, national
association representatives, legislators, continuing medical education
speakers and pharmaceutical representatives. No where else in Michigan
will you find such a coming together of your professional peers
and others who play important roles in the practices of osteopathic
family physicians. For information about our annual conferences,
please contact Melissa Budd.
MAOFP offers members many opportunities to explore leadership
roles. Serving on the board of directors, as a committee chairperson
or member, or as an executive committee member are excellent ways
to develop your leadership skills and make a positive impact on osteopathic
family medicine in Michigan. If you are interested in serving on the
MAOFP Board of Directors, please contact Rhonda Ballard.
We also strongly encourage our members to serve
as delegates to the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians’
Congress of Delegates. This meeting takes place during ACOFP’s
annual convention and gives members the opportunity to submit and
vote on resolutions that are are national in scope. If you are interested
in serving as a delegate, please contact Rhonda Ballard. |
