Focusing on Physician Wellness

This presentation will review the importance and need for physician wellness. It will discuss approaches and ideas to help improve overall well-being and self-care for physician attendees. By the end of the webinar, the attendee should come away with tools to approach their individual wellness with motivation to improve their self-care.
After this session, participants will be able to:
Tina Metropoulos, DO, is a board-certified Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine physician who practices in Traverse City, MI, at West Front Primary Care. She currently serves as President of the MAOFP. Previously, she led the Physician Wellness and Membership Committees, and has taken an active role in the Education Committee. She also sits on the Women’s Health & Leadership and Health & Wellness Committees within the ACOFP. Dr. Metropoulos participates in teaching activities with the Family Medicine Residency in Traverse City. She completed her own residency training at Metro Health in Grand Rapids, MI. She enjoys giving back to the osteopathic profession through clinical practice, education, serving on her state and national societies, and being an active member of her local community. Dr. Metropoulos is also a yoga instructor and has had the opportunity to lead sessions at conferences as well as within her local community. She has enjoyed planting roots in Northern Michigan with her husband, Kristian, and two awesome children, Eliana, and Alexander. She loves exploring the outdoors and counts herself lucky to have found such a beautiful place to grow her family and her practice.
CME Credit: The Michigan Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Michigan Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1 of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
