Many physicians do not perform physical examinations virtually. This presentation will illustrate what can be done and how rewarding a complete virtual exam can be for the patient and the physician.

After this session, participants will be able to:

1. Understand what can be done during a virtual physical examination.
2. List what limitations exist with the virtual physical examination.
3. Explain the benefits of remote monitoring devices to the exam.

Dr. Gretchen Goltz enjoyed practicing as a family physician for 19 years in West Michigan before making a career change in November 2019.  She is now a Medical Director with Provider Engagement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She is enjoying the challenge of healthcare from a different perspective. She is married to a firefighter and has two grown children.
