MAOFP is pleased to welcome attendees to the 2022 Summer Family Medicine Conference! We are excited to invite you to join us at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa on Thursday, August 11 – Sunday, August 14, 2022. This year’s conference offers up to 22 CME credits, including sessions on topics such as topics in obesity treatment, Women’s Health, and the End-of-Life Cases.
Our agenda also will include an exhibit hall, the annual membership meeting, the family oriented MAOFP Summer Fest with a picnic and outdoor games, and our President’s Reception.

Are you unable to attend the conference in person? Purchase the on-demand recordings of the conference and earn CME credits at your convenience. The recorded sessions will be available from August 29, 2022 - October 31, 2022.

Payment of registration and event fees must be made within 30 days of registration to avoid cancellation. Registrations made within 30 days of the event must be paid at the time of registration. No exceptions.

Registrants for a MAOFP continuing medical education program must submit requests in writing for refunds to the Association’s office. Requests for refunds must be received at least two weeks prior to the program and will entitle registrant to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. You must notify MAOFP at least two weeks prior to the program to request a refund of the registration fees. Program brochures/registration forms and the MAOFP web site shall include this information.
Substitution of registration (same type: member/non-member) is permitted prior to July 11, 2022. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant with written consent. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact/demographic information. MAOFP prioritizes the health and safety of our members and guests. MAOFP will enforce any federal, state, or local mandates as they exist at the time of the event. Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the start of the event. Masks are required for non-vaccinated participants.
To ensure that all feel comfortable and safe at our event, some extra distance may be implemented in gatherings, dining areas, and seating situations. Expect that dining events including breaks, meals, and receptions may be modified from our usual format to prioritize safety.
For everyone’s safety, please do not arrive to the meeting ill or with any symptoms of COVID-19 or other similar flu viruses. If you develop symptoms while at the meeting, please quarantine yourself and notify a member of the MAOFP staff.
If a participant is unable to attend because of exposure to COVID or other transmissible diseases, MAOFP will provide access to the on-demand education, transfer your registration to a future conference, or provide a refund.
